Having previously spotlighted several famous American’s buried in DC’s Congressional Cemetery, our series now moves to another notable Washington DC burial ground: Oak Hill Cemetery in Georgetown. Built during 19th century garden cemetery movement, Oak Hill is the final resting place of many famous American politicians, business people, military officials, diplomats, and philanthropists. We will be covering many of these famous Americans in the next installment of “Dead, White, and Blue” so stay tuned!
