[Washington D.C. July 28th, 2021] Two DMV businesses, Goodies Frozen Custard and Historic America Tours, are rolling out an innovative food tour series called ‘Lunch & Learn’.

Lunch and Learn Food Tours are a celebration of American foodways. They offer a growing menu of guided walking tours that use local historic sites and dynamic storytelling to connect the past and plate.

The series kicked off Juneteenth 2021, with Soul Food Saturdays. Currently running as a monthly public tour, this stroll through Old Town Alexandria highlights the contributions of African American innovation and culinary tradition to the creation of American cuisine. The journey culminates with an inspired meal, served outdoors.

Music, Murals & Mambo Sauce and Pizza & Prosecco launch in August and September respectively. Take a bite out of American history, and bring a friend to the table! Tickets are available for immediate purchase.
